The area of Nikiana, in which lies the mountain of Skaros with dozens of trails and rural roads is the best choice for those wanting to explore the interior of the island by bike. The peak of the making, the waterfalls of the grindstone, the Channel, the area of Alexandros and Kolivata will earn action lovers of two wheels.

The members of the Association of Professionals and Environmental Protection Nikianas, have already begun the necessary signaling procedures, mapping and classification of trails suitable for cycling routes.

Walking routes

Discover the green side of Nikianas crossing paths and historical moularostrates, the residents of the area mapped out for decades in order to meet the needs of livestock and agricultural activities.

Visit the waterfalls grindstone climbing the path that runs parallel to the stream of bishops and witness the remnants of the two water mills in the region, which stand reminiscent of the difficulties but also the simplicity of life of past generations of our country.

Climb from the “Naumis” to the top of “Skaros” and see from above from Nikiana, mountains Etoloakarnanias and Princes, among which are Madoyri Aristotle Valaoritis and Scorpio Aristotle Onassis.
